Select:ed helps families find right-fit schools worldwide, for children aged 3-18. We have particular expertise in the following markets:
London academically selective schools (state grammar and private/independent) – entry at 7+, 11+ and 13+
UK schools – We have helped families from around the world secure places for their child at British schools, both day and boarding. Select:ed also plans educational journeys for your child that ‘mix and match’ state + private schools
Middle East: school search for British curriculum and IB international schools in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Riyadh
-
No, not at all. Our aim is helping you to find the right-fit school for your child. In the UK market, we are increasingly seeing parents opt for a ‘mix and match’ approach that combines state and private schools at various points in a child’s school career. We can advise on which types of schooling are best suited for your child at different stages, based on their cognitive abilities and personal interests.

Item description

Our offices in London and the UAE are not walk-in premises.
Due to the broad geographical spread of our work, we do not define ourselves by a physical presence in a particular location; our team are based around the UK and globally. However, we are always delighted to meet prospective clients or representatives of schools from around the world, either in person or virtually. Please contact us to arrange an appointment.
-
Our team is constantly gathering new research on the rapidly evolving world of schools.
We use government data and schools’ own published statistics to benchmark performance. Our proprietary dataset includes more than 300 schools in the UK and around the world, as of 2025. We are partnered with The Great British Schools Guide to source quantitative data on UK state and private schools.
Select:ed consultants also have relationships with heads and admissions teams in schools, seeking out detailed qualitative insights on schools’ strengths and weaknesses.

Our fees vary for different service levels; we work on a fixed, per-project pricing model to give you clarity. The initial consultation call is without obligation. You will receive a transparent quote on fees before going ahead with any project.
We offer a standalone assessment product – Academic Profiler – for families seeking to understand their child’s cognitive abilities, or identify untapped academic potential.
The core of our work is School Search and Selection.
At the top end of the range, we can support families with guided tours of schools and full Managed Placement.
